Salealto traces the history of King Ferdinand IV of Bourbon and the Real Casina di Caccia di Ficuzza. In that place, in 1800, the sovereign kept his own wine, produced with grapes from vineyards located in the surroundings of our Ficuzza estate. We imagined how the wine drunk by the King could be, and after a few years of experimentation Salealto was born, a "vin du terroir" obtained from Insolia, Grillo and Zibibbo in equal parts, vinified separately and then aged together. Straw yellow. Nose dedicated to floral nuances of orange blossom and fruity nuances of apricot, sage, fern and sweet almond with saline sediments. Slender and delicate, with consistent aromatic returns pervading the sip. Grapes vinified separately in steel.
