||The climatic trend was positive at the Remole estate. Spring arrived in April, after a March with low average temperatures and abundant rains. Rising temperatures led to early bud hatching. In May, the rainfall recorded was higher than the norm for the period and this made it possible to store excellent water reserves to better face the summer season. In June, the plant consumed greater quantities of water to cope with the high winds and the onset of flowering, which occurred in the first two weeks of June. The temperatures in the months of July and August were very similar to each other and constant with peaks of hot in the last week of July and in the first ten days of August. The rains that fell in these two months allowed the plant not to reach water stress as the soil water reserves did not drop below the withering point. The month of September was characterized by a favorable alternation of temperatures between day and night which led to the concentration of aromas and the maintenance of a marked total acidity. The vegetative cycle of 2013 was characterized by a series of constant rainfall events and cool temperatures, which benefited the vegetative development of our vineyards.
