This wine, chosen by the Frescobaldi family to continue the tradition of reserving a Private Collection for its new born, originates from the oldest vines of the Nipozzano Castle, with a deep root system. Of great complexity and harmony, it ages for 24 months in oak barrels as per ancient Tuscan tradition. Intense and brilliant ruby red. On the nose the floral and fruity notes are perfectly integrated with the spiciness. Rosehip and violet stand out among all, and are balanced with hints of small red berries. A persistent balsamicity and an elegant toasting complete the nose. On the palate it is silky and with a fine tannic texture. The acid component is perfectly balanced with the alcoholic one. The finish is long and persistent.
