Il Marquis Antinori Chianti Reserve it's a wine still red with Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin (DOCG).
Produced only in the best vintages from grapes Sangiovese (90%) and from grapes Cabernet Franc (10%) carefully selected for both bunches and berries.
A wine with a long tradition that is produced only and exclusively in the Tuscan territory of Chianti.
Le viti they are grown with the Guyot method, with that of the spurred cordon and with that of the Tuscan arch land with an arenaceous, calcareous, not very clayey and sandy marly composition, located at a height not exceeding 700 meters. Thanks to a microclimate that allows uve a slow maturation, thus determining the particular chemical and organoleptic characteristics of this special Tuscan wine.
The Marchese Antinori Chianti wine Reserve of the Antinori cellars holds body from the grapes of vineyards of Tenuta Tignanello and is a product oenological of quality much appreciated in the Bel Paese as well as abroad.
To produce this wine, winemaking e aging they take place separately in Hungarian and French oak barriques.
Le uve after having been de-stemmed they come pressed softly, then they are transferred into stainless steel tanks, here the must undergoes the process of maceration through delicate pumping over and déléstage, processes that allow to maintain the sweetness of the tannins, after which they follow the fermentation alcoholic, the racking, transfer to barriques and bottling. After being bottled it continues to mature in the bottle for 1 year. Intense ruby red. On the nose, notes of ripe red fruit combine with pleasant hints of vanilla and spices. On the palate it is enveloping, balanced, but also lively and deep with soft and silky tannins. A wine of character, with an excellent territorial identity, characterized by a long and persistent finish.

||Tenuta Tignanello is located in the heart of Chianti Classic, on the soft hills enclosed between the Greve and Pesa valleys and extends for 319 hectares, of which 127 are vineyards. The vineyards of Tenuta Tignanello are mainly composed of the autochthonous Sangiovese and non-traditional varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

||Upon arrival in the cellar, the grapes were de-stemmed and then softly pressed; the must was transferred to stainless steel tanks where the alcoholic fermentation, which took about a week. There maceration has been managed with very delicate pumping over and delestage in order to guarantee an intense extraction but at the same time preserving the elegance and sweetness of the tannins.
||At the end of the malolactic fermentation, which took place spontaneously by end of the year, the blended wine continued the period of aging in barrique of French and Hungarian oak for about a year. The Marchese Antinori was then bottled and aged in the bottle for a further 12 months.
