It is a relationship of enormous richness of exchange that has been created between man and vine in Castellare di Castellina. The company was founded in the late seventies by communications manager Paolo Panerai, now head of the Class publishing group, after having approached quality wine thanks to his friendship with the great Gino Veronelli, while both actively collaborated with the weekly Panorama. For the Milanese Panerai it was easy to fall in love with this suggestive countryside, which deserved to produce its prestigious cru. Thus was born in 1979 I Sodi di San Niccolò, among the first wines generated in the Chianti area that renounced the denomination. Today the sought-after red is among the symbols of the rebirth of the entire Chianti terroir, a wine of immense class that amazes with every sip.
