Giacomo Tachis was a true visionary when in 2002 he imagined to create the Supersardi, Bordeaux blends enriched by Carignano: full, elegant wines, with deeply Mediterranean and saline characteristics, appreciated by international markets. From the alliance between Tenuta San Guido and Cantina Santadi, Agripunica was born, whose destiny is also that of the mining Sulcis, brought to the fore of Italian haute oenology. Export to the foreign market allows Sardinian production to be known and enhanced, adapting foreign tastes to the warm and austere territoriality of the island. The Barrua, always at the top, comes from a blend of Carignano, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. Montessu comes from younger vineyards and is a blend of Carignano, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Merlot. .
